If you want a small SUV that feels a little more solid and refined than most in this price range, this 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition 4Motion is a great option. Its got that German feel tight steering, planted on the road, and just more connected than a lot of compact SUVs. The turbo engine gives it a little extra punch, and the 4Motion AWD makes it confident in bad weather or rough roads. What I like about the Wolfsburg edition is you get the good stuff panoramic sunroof, heated seats, nice interior touches without it being overly complicated.
Its not the biggest SUV out there, but its comfortable, easy to drive, and feels more premium than youd expect. If you want something practical that still has a bit of personality, this Tiguan stands out in a good way.
